DRIIMB Conference
Save the dates for our Integrative Structural Biology conference!
From Monday 12 October 2026, 12.00
to Wednesday 14 October 2026, 14.00
Venue – Cloth Hall Court, University of Leeds, UK
Our Conferences
Each of the participating CCPs runs its own conferences as well as having a presence at conferences organised by other organisations. Towards the end of the DRIIMB grant, we will organise a joint conference on integrated molecular biology.
Advances in Computational Approaches to Antimicrobial Resistance Symposium
Wednesday, 04 November 2026, Brunel University of London, UK
Antimicrobial resistance is one of the most pressing global health challenges. This one-day symposium will showcase how computational approaches are advancing our understanding of resistance and accelerating the discovery of new interventions.
The programme will span computational biology, molecular modelling, structural biology, artificial intelligence, genomics and antimicrobial research. It will feature invited talks, poster presentations, networking and opportunities to develop new collaborations.
Researchers at all career stages from academia, industry and partner organisations are warmly invited to attend.
CCPBioSim Annual Conference: Frontiers in Biomolecular Simulations
06-08 July 2026, University of Bristol, UK
This year’s CCPBioSim annual conference has the theme: Biomolecular simulation across scales, for understanding and design. We aim to explore the cutting edge of biomolecular simulations and associated methods, and their real-world impacts, including on engineering biology. For more information please visit CCPBioSim events page.
CCPN Annual Conference
22-24 June 2026, University of Bath, UK
This year’s conference will be all about dynamics and linking NMR data with Molecular Dynamics (MD) calculations, so as to tie in with our DRIIMB work in collaboration with CCPBioSim, CCP4 and CCP-EM. For more information please visit CCPN conference page.
Integrated Modelling and Scattering for Biomolecules Conference
18- 20 May 2026
CCPBioSim and British Biophysical Society (BBS) will be organising a joint conference in Sheffield.See the CCPBioSim webpage for more information and registration
CCP-EM Spring Symposium
22-24 April 2026, East Midlands Conference Centre, Nottingham, UK and Virtual
The conference is held in conjunction with the Diamond Light Source Biological Cryo-Imaging User Meeting for eBIC and B24. For more information and to sign up to the workshop go to the CCP-EM webpage.
Our Workshops
An important aspect of our outreach activities are our workshops. See the individual CCP webpages for workshops organised by each of the CCPs. As our joint project proceed, we shall be advertising DRIIMB workshops here.
DRIIMB Software Carpentry Workshop: Core Software Skills for Research
15 – 16 October 2026, Cloth Hall Court, Leeds, UK
This two‑day Software Carpentry workshop, delivered as part of the DRIIMB project, introduces core software skills needed to develop high‑quality, reproducible scientific software. Topics covered include using the Unix shell, version control with Git, and Python.
The workshop is suitable for researchers and research support staff who want to develop their own software, contribute to existing software projects, or gain a better understanding of how research software is developed and maintained. No prior programming experience is required.
Participants are asked to bring their own laptops (preferably with permission to install software). More information about the setup requirements will be sent to registered participants before the workshop.
Please visit our conference webpage here for registrations and more details.
Our Webinars
Webinars form a way for us to stimulate conversation and disseminate best practice amongst our communities. Joint webinars will be listed here.
